Planting 120 Trees to Commence EJIP Eco Program

PT East Jakarta Industrial Park in order to commemorate World Environment Day and the start of the EJIP Eco Program series carried out tree planting activities, committed to environmental sustainability, especially in the EJIP Industrial Area. 

The activity was attended by the Bekasi Regency Environmental Service (DLH), the Head of the South Cikarang District, the Head of the EJIP Police Post, the Head of Sukaresmi Village, the Representative of RT 06 Cicadas, Sukaresmi Village in addition to the enthusiastic participation of 40 company participants in the EJIP area. 

This tree planting marked the start of a series of activities, the Eco Program, planned by EJIP to increase ecological awareness and contribute to a healthier earth. 

At the event, participants planted 50 trees in predetermined locations, each tree selected for its benefits to the environment, especially water absorption and prevention of erosion or slope shifts. 

The event also became the official opening of the EJIP Eco Program activities, which will include education and distribution of compost this year. Organic waste in the EJIP Area is collected every day in the form of dry plants which are then processed into compost. 

EJIP expresses its gratitude to all participants and reaffirms its continued dedication to environmental management.
